Pilates Fitness Summer Jam Series
Tuesdays, July 18 - August 22, 6:00-7:00 am
Join us for six weeks of early-morning invigoration this summer!
The class uses key principles of pilates and functional fitness for a moderate/intense workout. Enjoy bodyweight exercises, plus resistance bands, stability balls, dumbbells, and kettlebells, as well as classical pilates for overall fitness, stability, and strength.

Pranayama: Explore the Power of Breath

The practice of breathing techniques, or pranayama, is a powerful and simple way to develop a deeper relationship with yourself. These techniques can help regulate the nervous system to support better sleep, digestion, and more balanced daily energy levels. In this workshop, we will use Viniyoga methods to lengthen the parts of the breath while practicing yoga poses. We'll also practice pranayama techniques on their own to explore the full potential of breathwork. Appropriate for all students.

Prenatal Yoga and Childbirth Wellness Series

For all mamas to be, a 4-week series to help with current pregnancy symptoms and prepare for birth and postpartum healing. (Moms planning a future pregnancy are welcome, too!)
Join Vanessa as she guides you through yoga and meditation practices specifically designed for all stages of pregnancy.
Each week includes a different wellness approach as we'll be joined by a guest acupuncturist, holistic chiropractor, and childbirth educator. The series concludes with a relaxing and empowering artwork activity from which to gain strength while in labor.
(*Partners are welcome on October 21 to practice labor-support techniques; the final week's class is from 12:30-3:00 pm.)

Split Decision: Explored Increased Ease

Join Lauren to discover your own version of wide-leg and split-leg poses! We’ll discuss how best to modify these versatile asanas to protect your joints, plus safe ways to gain hamstring flexibility and hip range of motion. The practice will include both active (yang) and passive (yin) poses.
