Whole Yoga & Pilates is conveniently located in Odenton, Maryland—central to Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, DC. We offer a variety of accessible and affordable yoga and pilates classes, plus workshops that emphasize therapeutics and meditative movement. For all mamas to be, a 4-week series to help with current pregnancy symptoms and prepare for birth and postpartum healing. Join Vanessa as she guides you through yoga and meditation practices designed for all stages of pregnancy. Each week includes a different wellness approach to pregnancy with guest acupuncturist, holistic chiropractor, and childbirth educator. (Partners are welcome for the final week to practice labor-support techniques.) The series concludes with a relaxing and empowering artwork activity from which to gain strength while in labor.
February 25: Prenatal yoga intro & meditation
March 4: Anatomy, trigger-point therapy, & yin yoga
March 11: Acupuncture & prenatal yoga wellness
March 18: Birthing class! Partners are welcome as we'll be joined by a childbirth educator (and labor & delivery nurse)!

The Sun Salutation sequence, called surya namaskar in Sanskrit, is at the heart of any vinyasa yoga practice. Learn more about this active, flowing sequence of yoga postures with our new instructor, Laura! She will guide you through different variations of Sun Salutations, noting special modifications for your own practice, inside and outside of class.

(PLEASE NOTE: The course has already begun and we cannot accept further registrations, but please let us know of your interest and we'll keep you posted about the next dates.) This evidence-informed series blends yogic tools with contemporary neuroscience principles to help students recognize and begin to ease patterns of suffering. Whether you are anxious, depressed, or simply stressed-out, this 8-week series offers concrete tools to help. Students can expect a moderately active practice, but no previous yoga experience is required; if needed, we can arrange private instruction before the course begins. The $395 course fee includes a manual and companion weekly audio practices (payment plan available, and course alumni receive a discount). Contact Laurie to sign up.
